Psychoanalytische Überlegungen zum Humor

Zusammenfassung:

Freud gelingt es, Humor nicht nur phänomenal und in seinen Funktionen zu beschreiben, sondern seine grundlegende psychische Struktur und die unbewusste Dynamik aufzuzeigen. Dabei entwickelt er, fast nebenbei, seine Konzeption des Überichs weiter, gibt diesem letztlich als innerem Objekt eine tröstende, beruhigende Aufgabe gegenüber dem Ich. In der vorliegenden Arbeit greift der Autor Freuds Vorstellungen auf und versucht, sie anhand einer klinischen Fallvignette zu konkretisieren und zu erweitern. Berücksichtigt werden sollen neben der von Freud beschriebenen »reifen« Form des Humors auch »unreifere« Formen, bei denen der Abwehrcharakter des Humors mehr im Vordergrund steht und das Übertragungs-/Gegenübertragungsgeschehen eine besondere Rolle spielt.

Summary:

Psychoanalytic thoughts on humor. – Freud contrives not only to describe humor in phenomenological and functional terms, he also delineates its fundamental psychic structure and the unconscious dynamic operative in it. In the process, he further develops, almost incidentally, his concept of the superego, ultimately allocating to it, as an internal object, a consoling and reassuring function vis-à-vis the ego. The author takes up Freud’s ideas and attempts to flesh them out and extend them with reference to a clinical case vignette. Alongside the »mature« form of humor described by Freud, the author also homes in on more »immature« forms in which the defensive character of humor is more prominent and the processes of transference/countertransference play a special role.

Résumé:

Réflexions psychanalytiques sur l’humour. – Freud parvient non seulement à décrire le phénomène de l’humour et ses fonctions mais aussi à démontrer sa structure psychique fondamentale et sa dynamique inconsciente. Ce faisant, il développe presque en passant sa conception du surmoi et lui attribue finalement en tant qu’objet interne une fonction consolatrice et apaisante vis à vis du moi. Dans cette étude l’auteur reprend les idées de Freud et tente de les concrétiser et de les élargir en s’appuyant sur un cas clinique. Outre les formes »mûres« de l’humour décrites par Freud, doivent être prises en considération ses formes »moins mûres« dans lesquelles prédomine le mécanisme de défense de l’humour et dans lesquelles le fait du transfert/contre-transfert joue un rôle particulier.
