Eine Überprüfung des Konzepts der Signalangst

Zusammenfassung:

In »Hemmung, Symptom und Angst« beschrieb Freud 1926 die Signalfunktion der Angst. Anknüpfend an die zuvor erschienene Arbeit »Das Ich und das Es« wies er der Angst eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Symptombildung zu. Wie in allen Schriften Freuds ist dabei eine tiefgreifende wechselseitige Verflechtung zwischen den Hauptaspekten der Theorie erkennbar. Deshalb müssen, so der Autor, viele dieser Grundannahmen einer Überprüfung unterzogen werden, wenn die Rolle des Angstkonzepts in psychoanalytischen Theorieentwürfen herausgearbeitet werden soll.

Summary:

A re-assessment of the concept of signal anxiety. – Anxiety as signal was described by Freud in 1926 in »Inhibitions, Symptoms and Anxiety.« It followed the publication of »The Ego and the Id« and established the role of anxiety in symptom formation. However, as with all of Freud’s works there is a deep interconnections between the major aspects of the theory. Therefore, in order to elucidate the role of anxiety in psychoanalytic formulations a re-assessment of many of the fundamental assumptions is necessary.

Une réévaluation du concept de l’angoisse signal. – Freud a décrit en 1926 dans »Inhibition, symptôme et angoisse« la fonction signal de l’angoisse. Développant son texte précédent »Le Moi et le ça« il attribue à l’angoisse un rôle essentiel dans la formation des symptômes. Comme dans tous les écrits de Freud on y reconnait l’imbrication profonde et mutuelle des principaux aspects de la théorie. C’est pourquoi de nombreux présupposés fondamentaux ont à être réévalués si l’on veut examiner le rôle du concept d’angoisse dans les projets de théorie psychanalytique.
