Psychoanalytische Haltung – Abstinenz – Enactment

Für einen besseren Umgang mit psychoanalytischen Konzepten, modellhaft illustriert am Konzept »Enactment«*

Zusammenfassung:

Bekanntermaßen besteht kein Konsens in der Frage, wie zwischen rivalisierenden und manchmal widersprüchlichen Theorien entschieden und wie divergente Konzepte und Theorien integriert werden können. Angesichts dieser Situation hat das IPV-Projektkomitee für konzeptuelle Integration eine Methode entwickelt, die einen Vergleich unterschiedlicher Konzeptfassungen und der ihnen zugrunde liegenden Theorien und Grundannahmen ermöglicht. Ähnlichkeiten und Unterschiede können nur innerhalb eines Bezugsrahmens auf methodisch verständliche und reproduzierbare Weise erfasst werden. Die Autoren haben das Konzept des Enactment benutzt, um die Probleme des Konzeptvergleichs systematisch zu untersuchen, und dazu eine Art provisorischen Kanon relevanter Beiträge unterschiedlicher Provenienz erstellt. Ihre Methode zur Analyse des Konzepts »Enactment« umfasst fünf Stufen: Die erste Stufe betrifft die Geschichte des Konzepts, die zweite die Phänomenologie, die dritte eine methodologische Analyse der Definition des Konzepts. Um verschiedenartige Konzeptualisierungen miteinander zu vergleichen, müssen die wesentlichen Dimensionen des Bedeutungsraumes des Konzepts bekannt sein – die vierte Stufe. In einem fünften Schritt wird diskutiert, ob und inwieweit eine Integration der verschiedenartigen Versionen von »Enactment« möglich ist.

Summary:

Toward a better use of psychoanalytic concepts: A model illustrated using the concept of enactment. – It is well known that there is a lack of consensus about how to decide between competing and sometimes mutually contradictory theories, and how to integrate divergent concepts and theories. In view of this situation the IPA Project Committee on Conceptual Integration developed a method that allows comparison between different versions of concepts, their underlying theories and basic assumptions. Only when placed in a frame of reference can similarities and differences be seen in a methodically comprehensible and reproducible way. The authors used »enactment« to study the problems of comparing concepts systematically. Almost all psychoanalytic schools have developed a conceptualization of it. The authors made a sort of provisional canon of relevant papers they have chosen from the different schools. The five steps of their method for analyzing the concept of enactment will be presented. The first step is the history of the concept; the second the phenomenology; the third a methodological analysis of the construction of the concept. In order to compare different conceptualizations one must know the main dimensions of the meaning space of the concept, this is the fourth step. Finally, in step five will be discussed if and to what extent an integration of the different versions of enactment is possible.

Pour une meilleure utilisation des concepts psychanalytiques. Illustration à travers un modèle utilisant le concept de mise en acte (enactment). – On sait bien qu’il n’existe pas de consensus quant à la façon d’opérer une sélection entre des théories rivales et parfois mutuellement contradictoires et d’intégrer des concepts et des théories divergents. Face à cette situation, le comité d’intégration conceptuelle de l’API a développé une méthode permettant d’établir une comparaison entre les différentes versions des concepts et les théories et hypothèses de base qui les sous-tendent. Pour pouvoir étudier les similitudes et les différences de façon méthodique, compréhensible et reproductible, il faut pouvoir disposer d’un cadre de références. Les auteurs ont utilisé la notion de »mise en acte« pour examiner les problèmes soulevés par la comparaison systématique des concepts. Presque toutes les écoles psychanalytiques ont conceptualisé cette notion. Ils ont constitué un corpus à partir de textes de différentes écoles de pensée, choisis pour leur pertinence. Ils présenteront les cinq étapes de leur méthode d’analyse du concept de mise en acte. Premièrement, l’histoire du concept – sa généalogie. Deuxièmement, sa phénoménologie. Troisièmement, l’analyse méthodologique de la définition du concept. Quatrièmement, les principales caractéristiques du champ sémantique du concept – étape nécessaire pour pouvoir comparer les différentes conceptualisations entre elles. Et cinquièmement, l’étude de la potentialité ou non de l’intégration des différentes versions de la mise en acte.
