Ein literarisches Werk greift in einer schwierigen Gegenübertragungssituation Raum in der inneren Welt der Analytikerin. Was zunächst nur Ausdruck einer Abwehrbewegung zu sein scheint, entschlüsselt sich mehr und mehr als ein sich allmählich öffnender Zugang für die Begegnung zwischen Analysand und Psychoanalytikerin. Der vorliegende Text gibt Einblick in die Konflikte des Patienten und seine Bewältigungsversuche. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden das Übertragungsgeschehen sowie die behandlungstechnischen Probleme dargestellt und schließlich der Ort markiert, an dem der Roman seine Bedeutung für die Analyse erlangt. Im Verlauf der Behandlung gewinnt die Beschäftigung der Analytikerin mit der Romanfigur im psychischen Geschehen zwischen Analysand und Psychoanalytikerin wechselnde Bedeutungen. Diese unterschiedlichen Konfigurationen werden dargestellt und diskutiert.

The invisible companion. The role played by a figure from a novel in a case of analytic therapy
In a difficult countertransference situation a literary work establishes itself in the inner world of a female psychoanalyst. What first appears to be no more than the expression of a defense impulse gradually reveals itself to be a key factor in the encounter between analysand and analyst. The article outlines the patient’s conflicts and his attempts to come to terms with them. Against this background the author delineates the countertransference aspect and the technical problems involved, finally marking the juncture at which the novel takes on significance for the analysis. In the course of treatment, the analyst’s preoccupation with one of the figures in the novel takes on different meanings in the psychic interaction between herself and her analysand. These different configurations are described and discussed.

La signification d’un personnage de roman comme accompagnateur invisible d’une thérapie psychanalytique
Dans une situation de contre-transfert difficile, une œuvre littéraire occupe une place dans l’univers intérieur de l’analyste. Ce qui semble d’abord être un mouvement de défense, se révèle de plus en plus être un accès, s’ouvrant peu à peu, qui permet la rencontre entre l’analysant et l’analyste. Le texte ici présenté donne un aperçu des conflits du patient et de ses tentatives pour les résoudre. Dans ce contexte, l’auteure décrit ce qui survient pendant le transfert ainsi que les problèmes de la technique thérapeutique et, enfin, elle marque le lieu où le roman trouve sa signification pour l’analyse. Au cours de la thérapie, le travail sur le personnage de roman, accompli par l’analyste, prend une signification qui change dans les événements psychiques qui se produisent entre l’analysant et l’analyste. Ces différentes configurations sont présentées et discutées.

Der Alkestis-Mythos hat unzählige Dichter und Musiker von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart zu den verschiedensten Nachdichtungen und Interpretationen inspiriert. In diesem Mythos geht es um eine Königin, die sich bereit erklärt, an Stelle ihres Gemahls zu sterben. Der Autor der vorliegenden Arbeit interpretiert das Alkestis-Drama von Euripides, das den späteren Versionen als Grundlage dient, und er zeigt, daß sich in dieser Dichtung hinter dem berühmten Motiv des Liebesopfers die vielschichtige Darstellung eines männlichen und eines weiblichen Ödipuskonflikts verbirgt. Es gibt in der griechischen Literatur also neben dem nur wenige Jahre früher aufgeführten König Ödipus von Sophokles einen anderen, neuen Ödipus zu entdecken, und zwar einen, dessen Schicksal keine tragische Wendung nimmt und der sich aus der gefährlichen inzestuösen Verstrickung befreien kann. Diese Befreiung ist allerdings nur möglich dank des mutigen Handelns seiner außergewöhnlichen Frau, die ihm in der Überwindung des ödipalen Konflikts in vorbildlicher Weise vorausgeht.

The other Oedipus: Euripides’ ›Alcestis‹
The myth of Alcestis has inspired countless dramatists and composers from antiquity to the present. Their reworkings and interpretations of the story are extremely wide-ranging. The central theme is the willingness of Queen Alcestis to die in the place of her husband Admetus. The author of the present article focuses on Euripides’ Alcestis, the basis for all later versions. He demonstrates that behind the famous motif of the love sacrifice lies a many-faceted portrayal of a male and female Oedipus conflict. Accordingly, alongside Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex, first performed only a few years earlier, ancient Greek literature boasts another, very different Oedipus, one whose destiny does not end tragically but who is able to extricate himself from the dangerous incestuous dilemma he finds himself in. This liberation is however only possible thanks to the courage of his remarkable wife, who leads the way out of the Oedipal conflict in an exemplary manner.

L’autre Œdipe: ›Alceste‹ d’Euripide
Le mythe d’Alceste a inspiré à d’innombrables poètes et musiciens, de l’antiquité jusqu’à aujourd’hui, des adaptations et des interprétations les plus diverses. Dans ce mythe, il s’agit d’une reine qui accepte de mourir à la place de son époux. L’auteur du travail ici présenté interprète le drame d’Alceste d’Euripide, qui sert de base aux versions ultérieures; en montrant que dans cette œuvre, derrière le célèbre motif du sacrifice par amour, se cache la représentation complexe d’un conflit œdipien masculin et d’un conflit œdipien féminin. Dans la littérature, on peut donc découvrir, à côté de l’Œdipe Roi de Sophocle, représenté sur scène seulement quelques années auparavant, un autre Œdipe, un Œdipe nouveau, dont le destin ne prend pas un tournant tragique et qui peut se libérer de la dangereuse imbrication incestueuse. Cette libération n’est toutefois possible que grâce à l’action courageuse de son épouse extraordinaire qui le précède de manière exemplaire dans la résolution du conflit œdipien.

Persönlichkeit und biographische Verlaufskurve eines unter den transgenerationalen Übertragungswirkungen von im Zweiten Weltkrieg traumatisierten Eltern stehenden Japaners der Achtzigerjahre werden rekonstruiert. »Vergangenheits«-Abspaltung, irrationale Schuldgefühle und »Selbsthaß«, traumakompensatives »Konservieren« von Deckerinnerungen, familial bedingte Desymbolisierungen, unbewußte Partnerwahl, sexuelles Ausagieren von ›extraktiver Introjektion‹ und diverse biographische Selbstgefährdungen gehen einher mit halluzinatorischen Reinszenierungen von transgenerationalem Erfahrungsmaterial und Familiengeheimnissen. Hajimes Suche nach Bewältigung wird erzählt, aber auch narrativ mit den Leser/inne/n ausagiert. Sie verfährt mitunter phantasmatisch, antizipiert Elemente von ›Imaginativer Traumatherapie‹, ist der ›literarischen Interaktion‹ analog und nähert sich zuletzt bildlichen Spurenelementen von atomaren Vernichtungserfahrungen.

»Living in the desert.« Transgenerationally transmitted war and relationship traumas in second-generation literature exemplified by Haruki Murakami’s novel ›South of the Border, West of the Sun‹
The article reconstructs the personality and biography of a Japanese man (Hajime) living in the 1980s and affected by transgenerational legacies from parents traumatized by the Second World War. Dissociation from the »past,« irrational guilt feelings and »self-hatred,« trauma-compensatory »conservation« of screen memories, familially conditioned desymbolization, unconscious partner selection, sexual acting-out of »extractive introjection,« and various biographical self-endangerments go hand in hand with hallucinatory reenactments of transgenerational experience and family secrets. Hajime’s attempts to come to terms with all this are not only narrated but also narratively acted out with the reader. This quest is partially fantasmatic, anticipates aspects of Imaginative Trauma Therapy, approximates »literary interaction,« and ultimately engages tentatively with figurative trace elements deriving from experiences of nuclear destruction.

»Comme la vie dans le désert« – traumatismes de guerre et relationnels, transmis sur un mode transgénérationnel, dans la littérature de seconde génération, dans le roman ›Maîtresse dangereuse‹ de Haruki Murakami
L’auteur reconstruit la personnalité et le développement biographique d’un japonais dans les années 80, qui subit les effets de la transmission transgénérationnelle des traumatismes que ses parents ont subi pendant la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale. Le »détachement« du passé, les sentiments de culpabilité irrationnels et une »haine de soi«, la »conservation«, en compensation du trauma, des souvenirs-écran, les désymbolisations conditionnées par la famille, le choix inconscient du partenaire, l’enacting sexuel de »l’ introjection extractive« et les diverses mises en danger de soi dans la biographie du personnage s’accompagnent de nouvelles mises en scène hallucinatoires du matériel venant des expériences transgénérationnelles et des secrets de famille. Les tentatives de Hajime pour en venir à bout sont racontées par l’auteur du roman, mais elles sont aussi mises en acte sur le plan narratif avec les lecteurs. Elles se font parfois de manière fantasmatique, elles anticipent les éléments de la thérapie imaginative des traumatismes, elles sont analogues à »l’interaction littéraire« et se rapprochent à la fin des traces en images des expériences de la destruction nucléaire.
